		Strength Manufactured by G.E., LEXAN XL-10 can provide up to four times the impact strength of ½ inch plywood. It's corrugated design helps it absorb the energy generated by impact. The material is virtually indestructible, and bounces back upon impact. The product passes all Florida Building Codes (FBC) and Miami-Dade small and large missile impact requirements. Clear and Lightweight LEXAN XL-10 Shutters offer clear visibility versus the dark dungeon-like results from using plywood. These clear shutters let you see the storm, and lets in light when power fails. LEXAN XL-10 Shutters are guaranteed by G. E. to resist cracking and discoloration for 10 years! They provide protection against the degrading effects of UV light radiation. Installs Quickly and Easily The panels are lightweight and easy to install. They can be put up in minutes or can be left-up all hurricane seasons where not prohibited by residential code restrictions. They “nest” for easy storage and has been approved and recommended for use by the Sarasota Historical Preservation Society.
